Sunday Sundries

Sunday, March 12, 2017

Sundays are for cooking, more coffee than usual, and refreshing for the week ahead. It's been a while since I picked up my camera just for fun, so I decided to capture a little of my slow Sunday.

This sign is from Tumbleweed and Twine :)

I made raspberry lemon scones that turned out so delicious. I used this recipe.

My sweet Oliver Blue

Some Mary Oliver for the soul. "Joy is not made to be a crumb."

It really was the perfect Sunday. I'm on spring break so I didn't have the dreaded "school tomorrow" feeling. I've decided that baking in the sunshine with beautiful songs playing in the background is my happy place.

If you're looking for songs that sound perfect on a Sunday, check out the album Dream Darling by The Slow Show. I've been listening all day and it's beautiful.

What are some of your favorite things to do on a Sunday?

  1. I love your oats. There is always this very soothing and sweet mood to them and it's beautiful and so refreshing to read. Also, this is probably weird but some of my favorite types of photos are of eggs. Idk why! I love spending Sundays with my dogs and cooking breakfast food—the more of it the better.

    1. This made my day! Thank you!! I love egg photos too! They're so photogenic for some reason. Next Sunday I'm coming to your place to hang with you and your dogs and eat your breakfast food :)
